I wanted to design a living room that allowed the living space to flow seamlessly from indoor to out. I think one of the coolest things about living in the city is getting to know your neighbors and I really feel like that starts with having an accessible front porch.

We added these french doors to the living room for that easy front porch access and to allow as much natural light to fill the space.

Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore has been my go-to white paint recently. I love the creamy white. It feels bright without feeling too sterile. And really pairs nicely with all different styles of furniture.

We try to avoid creating clusters of artwork on multiple walls in a space. It tends to feel like too much, and we don’t want it to feel jumbled. Choose a collection for one wall, and a large statement piece to ground another. We chose to place the large artwork in the living room and then this collection above the console table.

The thing I love about white walls is that it really allows the furniture to be the focal point. We added lots of texture throughout the living room to create a visual interest that draws you and your eye in.
