I’m excited to be sharing my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Guide 2020 with y’all!! I know — it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the #nsale. Honestly, when I first took a look at the full 2020 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale preview, I felt a little overwhelmed and knew I needed to pair it down this year to just my top 10 items.

I know everyone’s financial situation is different this year and the opportunities to wear a new outfit out and about are few and far between so I kept it to stuff I already own and love and items that always sell out quickly. But first lets talk about what the Nordstrom Anniversary is all about, when you can shop, & how to shop.

What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is unlike any other sale because, for a limited time, brand new Fall styles are marked down at major discounted prices. SO many amazing brand name pieces are on sale for only a few weeks and at limited quantities! The prices then go back up for the rest of the season and many items sell out for months without being restocked.

When Can I Shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? 

The dates you can start shopping the sale early depend on your Nordstrom cardholder status! If you aren’t a cardmember you can still shop but you just have to wait a little longer. Take a look below at the breakdown below to figure out when you can shop based off your Nordstrom cardmember status:

If you’re not currently a Nordstrom cardmember you can sign up here. You can get a $60 note(gift card) for signing up. The process is so easy and the perks are amazing! 

• All cardmembers can shop Early Access starting August 13—shop even earlier depending on your Nordy Club status.
• Anniversary Sale is open to everyone August 19–30. Prices go up August 31.
• Online shopping begins at 9:30am ET/6:30am PT.

Tips for Shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

The best way to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, in my opinion, is online. Once it is live you will be able to shop for everything HERE! Online has more stock, no lines, & shipping both ways is always free! They will send you a prepaid label to return anything that doesn’t fit or that you end up not liking. Another great option is to place your order online and then use the curbside pick-up the same day at your closest store. So convenient!

The best advice when shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is to shop EARLY because there are so many things that sell out the first day. Some items may be restocked but some of the best ones never do. If you love something, buy it right aware. And if you’re unsure on sizing, order both sizes and return what doesn’t fit.
