Hi friends! I have been a little radio silent on here recently while taking some much needed time to get the finishing touches wrapped up! We moved in two years ago and I bought a lot of furniture all at once, but I took my time finding smaller pieces like vases, decorations, & vignettes. I wanted to find pieces that really inspired me. Like Marie Condo says, if it didn’t bring me joy, I didn’t buy it! So, I decided to put together this post on decorating with coffee table books!

In my search far and wide for coffee table books, I have found that Amazon has hands down the best prices! All the books below are $15-55. I think I actually only have one in my whole collection that was more than $100!

Coffee table books are one of my favorite ways to add in some personality when styling my house. They can add color, dimension, and a personal touch to any space. I love choosing books that are meaningful to me and great for conversation. Each one of my books is a reflection of who I am. I bought books that are beautiful but also are about some of my favorite hobbies, interests, or a favorite city. 

I wanted our house to feel timless but also reflect both Dave and I’s love of the ocean, travel, and coastal style. Our bedroom has a lot of traditional elements so I think the Surf Odyssey book helps balance that.

In the kitchen I use these cook books as a way to decorate and layer my open shelves.
