Makeup Notes

So I know this is a post about makeup but if I am not going to wear makeup I always use my Lancome Bienfait Multi-Vital SPF 30 Cream. It is the best moisturizer ever! It is amazing how much younger your skin looks with a little moisturizer, which is why this cream is definitely one of my current beauty favorites. The Urban Decay All Nighter is truly amazing. I can go all day and my makeup doesn’t move at all with this stuff. I have tried a million mascaras and come back to this one every time Le Volume De Chanel Mascara.

Foundation

Now before I get into foundation I think the MOST important thing to keep in mind with makeup is your skin type. My skin is mixed so my makeup routine would work for almost anyone BUT when watching makeup tutorials on YouTube with a glass of wine in hand and Amazon in the other, keep that in mind!

My go-to winter foundation is NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Liquid Foundation. It’s full coverage but it doesn’t look cakey like a lot of full coverage foundations. I use the MAC Strobe Cream underneath to give my skin more of a glowy look. And I would know I have over 10 different foundations in my makeup drawer (yikes!) For summer I like Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. You can make it as heavy or light as you want. It has a nice lightness to it to give you that dewy fresh look.

Loose Powders

Two of my new favorites are the loose powder Fenty Beauty by Rhianna. I use this with my beauty blender to set my under eye concealer and I never get creases. I have also tried a million concealers and I just love love love the Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer

Hoola  enough said. It’s my go-to bronzer and everyone elses’. Then I always apply my Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush. Honestly, I haven’t really tried a lot of other blushes because this blush shows up, stays on, and comes in so many pretty shades! The color I use is Rose Ecron. I always finish with a highlighter to make my cheekbones pop. I use Mary Lou Manizer in the winter and Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in champagne pop in the summer.

Eyebrows

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. Again. If you do your brows at all and aren’t using this product. You are really missing out. I add in the Dip Brow if I want a heavier makeup look.

And I always finish with Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF if it’s a t-shirt and jeans kinda day or MAC Lip Pencil in Soar and MAC Lipstick in Creme Cup or Faux for a little deeper pink look.
