Hi! My social media manager, Riley is getting married soon! We have been like two high school girls sitting in the office, talking about color palettes, shot lists, table clothes, flowers. You know. Wedding stuff! She inspired me to share our wedding day details, photos and sources. We couldn’t have had a more magical day!
Below I will list everyone we worked with, additional comments on some of them, plus tons & tons of wedding photos! If you love any of the below images, don’t forget to “Pin” them to your wedding inspiration board! (: xx Amanda
One of the things I love about Dave is how thoughtful he is. He hand wrote this beautiful note on the back of one of our engagement photos that now hangs in our living room as the “card” to his wedding present to me. A gorgeous crystal chandelier he knew I had wanted for our house that we were building at the time.
SOURCES
Photography
Justin Hankins Photography Justin is so laid back. He is exactly who you want on your wedding day. He gets the shots, is easy to work with, knows about lighting, and has been a joy to work with after the event was over. I lost my USB and he sent me all my photos almost two year later! He is exceptional.
Wedding Planner
Kate Phillips I can’t say enough good things about Kate. She has an amazing eye for design and detail and she made sure the day completely stress free for me. I knew everything would be in the right place and she would make sure everyONE was in the right place at the right time. Love her!
Gown
Urban Set Bride (Designer: Maggie Sottero) They have a beautiful selection of dresses and the girls that work here couldn’t be more helpful!
Catering
The Foundry Hands down one of the very best parts of the day was the food. The Foundry does a phenomenal job. Everything on their menu is classy, easy to eat, and sure to please a crowd!
Cake
Pearls Bake ShoppeIf you are local then you know. Pearls. Enough said. We had multiple cupcake flavors and a smaller wedding cake and everything was delicious!
Venue
The Foundry I was sure a country club wedding wasn’t for me. My dad suggested The Foundry because he is a member and from the minute I pulled up, I knew it was the perfect location. And I had seen 10 locations! Its the perfect mix of ethereal and well groomed. The Greek style buildings make for a gorgeous backdrop. The staff is excellent. And the service is top notch.
Dave and his groomsmen got ready in the locker room where they had their shoes shined by staff. Me and my bridal party got ready in the guest house which has multiple bedrooms, a kitchen, showers, and a beautiful porch to sit and enjoy a glass of champagne. A lot of our wedding party stayed at this house for the night after the wedding and enjoyed cocktails next to the fire pit which was a fun way to end the night.
Floral
PhotosynthesisLet’s be honest. The florals were the most important part. Rhea went above and beyond and to get me everything I wanted. I am not a floral person so I just brought inspo pictures and she made it come to life!
Tuxes
Urban Set Bride Very friendly, easy to work with, and convenient if you live in the city!
Videography
C.Y. Wedding FilmsI am obsessed with our wedding video. Chris and his team do such a great job! I saw his work on another wedding and was prepared to pay whatever it took to get him. He also edited my honeymoon Go Pro footage and just does great work. I would recommend him a million times.
DJ
Black Tie EntertainmentI was the most nervous about which DJ to get. Black Tie was top notch. The DJ was on time with all his cues, pronounced everyone’s name correctly was friendly, funny, polite, and couldn’t have been nicer to work with.
